Winter Wears: Our Fav Pieces of the Season
When I think of Winter outfits I automatically think of really great jackets and lots of different layering pieces. Depending on where you’re located on the map-those are usually the only two things really important to people because you need to be bundled up to fight the chill. Unless you are close to the west coast like Cali or Arizona….then sometimes it’s 80 degrees which just gets confusing. Regardless, we want to be season appropriate people!
Personally, I love layering bodysuits or long sleeve tops with all of the things. The Beautiful Stranger Mesh Bodysuit is the perfect essential for this chilly holiday season. There are seriously so many different looks you can assemble with this elevated basic. Pair it under dresses for a chic edgy look, under a band tee for a girly grunge vibe, and even on its own for a simple show stopping look!
I’ve kinda started overusing the whole “a girl can never have too many ….” line- and I absolutely stand by that to be true when it comes to outerwear. But seriously when I am trying clothes on during cold weather I feel like a good coat can really make or break an outfit. It’s a good thing that we have a variety of statement jackets that will elevate any outfit you’re trying to throw together. My two favorites are the Dawn To Dusk Teddy Coat and the Native Daughters Vibin' Patent Leather Jacket. The vibes of both of these jackets are completely different and thats what I love about them. The longline teddy coat is cozy and cute while the shiny patent leather jacket is edgy and badass.
Both of these jackets are a must have addition to the closet when the weather dips low. The biggest question when deciding which to wear is are you feeling cozy and cute or edgy and badass?
Neon and bright colors are so on trend right now. I think it’s perfect because what better way to spruce up a cold gloomy day than with pops of bright color! The New Dawn Crop Sweater and the San Francisco Striped Sweater are the perfect way bring an outfit to life. These bright colored sweaters will flow so nice layered with a neutral longline coat on top and a pair of jeans.
