Spotlight: The Goat Farm, Atlanta Ga

A hidden treasure in Atlanta's west midtown district, the "Goat Farm" is something you have to see to believe. Home to artists, musicians, non-profits, a vintage coffee shop and a llama, this mysterious spot is perfect for live, work, and play. This 19th century complex is made up of industrial buildings and urban farm land. With much of the original buildings standing just as they always have and very little development, this historic property has become the perfect artist community. Come listen to live music, drink a coffee, see a gallery showing, enjoy a contemporary dance performance, or even start plan your dream rustic wedding right here in these ruins. While they like to stay out of the public eye, they always have something fun and exciting planned.

The Warhorse:

Quirky, eclectic, rustic and secluded, the perfect place to get away and get a good coffee or tea. While they do not advertise to the public, they have wide open doors and are welcoming to everyone (including your dog). Packed full of antiques, books, an interesting yet super comfy furniture, if you are anything like me, you never want to leave. Super relaxed and casual, I was shocked to find out they charge nothing for their drinks, it is simply donation only. So make sure to bring cash and spread the love! Come sit and curl up with a good books and a very tasty Vietnamese coffee and relax from it all.

Go explore the magical Goat Farm and let us know how much you love it.                              XX-Danielle
