3 Easy Ways to Style your Messy Hair in Under 5 Minutes

School is back in and while you may be waking up now to curl, straighten, and blow-dry your hair, we all know that four weeks in the snooze button on your alarm will become your best friend. Before you know it, sleep will slowly take first priority and you will start rocking up to your 8am classes with an unbrushed, frizzy messy bun. We feel you. We've been there and we totally understand. So we've come up with a few actual cute ways to throw your hair together in under 5 minutes and allow you sleep in that extra 30 minutes.

Messy haired girls, it's time to embrace it.

Top Knots:

Our office's Monday morning go to. It's the best way to to hide your unwashed hair without having to pull it completely up. Add a little dry shampoo and you are good as new. The remaining hair hanging down can be teased, curled, or you can add in little braids for a more bohemian look.

Tips & tricks: Skip the hair tie and avoid sore hair and damage after a long day. Instead, secure with bobby pins! They will allow you to create a more perfectly-imperfect bun shape.

Double Boho Buns:

Haven't brushed your hair since Saturday? No judgement here. Tame your mess and look hot doing it with a cute double boho bun. Wear them up high as "alien buns" or embrace the messy low look.

Tips & tricks: The messier the better. I love to bun mine upside down so the ends of my hair sprout out the top. If your hair is really frizzy, french braid first and it will mask all the extra frizz!

Messy Braids:

When dry shampoo just won't do, and you realize that you definitely should have showered the night before, the best solution we have for you is just to braid it! If done right, it will look completely pre-planned and no one will ever know your getting ready stress. Choose to braid all the way around or just on one side. Mix with a bun or if your hair is still holding some volume keep in a ponytail.
