Desert Dreaming || Guide to Imperial Sand Dunes
Dreaming of the Dunes
We packed snacks, shag jackets, funky sunglasses, and we hit the road to adventure into the Imperial Sand Dunes. There's no place quite like it- so here's our travel guide so you too can experience the magic the dunes radiate! ☆
Sleepover in the Dunes
Camping in the Imperial Sand Dunes is super easy- and cheap too! There are several different areas to camp, we found a cement pad where we simply parked our car and set up a tent! Many people brought RV's who were planning on staying a while, and even grilled delicious hamburgers and hot dogs- a camping classic. If you're just spending the day, parking is free. Camping for the whole week at the dunes was only $40, and split between your friends- it's a done deal! ♡
For the Thrill of it
Talk about real life Mario Kart- the dune buggies at the Imperial sand dunes are a 90's kids' dream. You can rent them by the hour and have the most thrilling experience racing around in this adult sized sand box. When night falls, each ATV has a neon lit pole that glows in the sky. Imperial Sand Dunes are also known as Glamis Sand Dunes, so you can search North Glamis and rent dune buggies here!
Mesmerizing Moments ☾
