The Secret To The Perfect Stress-Free Morning

Not everybody is a morning person, and that’s just a fact. I’m more the type that helplessly falls asleep on the couch at 8:00 PM and then wakes up at 6:00 AM ready to go. After years of various roommates, I now know that is not the case for most people. So whether you roll out of bed at the last possible second, or you’ve already completed 10 tasks by 8:00 AM, these easy habits will help you start your day in the best mood possible.

Like clockwork, the minute I start playing a song on my phone I know it’s time for me to get up. But you can’t just play any song, if you roll into the morning listening to top 100 hits, it can really throw off the “easy morning” vibe we’re going for. I know it’s cliche, but starting your day with breakfast will not only boost your metabolism, but it will give you a sense of accomplishment and wholeness as you begin your day. Trust me, I know when time is of the essence, it’s just too easy to grab a breakfast bar on the go. She may look fancy, but I wasn’t kidding when I said 5 minutes. I have two options for you when it comes to avocado toast. Warning: No cooking is involved here. You’re welcome. Simply toast your bread and add these beautiful toppings.

  1. Balsamic Glaze Avocado Toast

It tastes as good as it looks. Just lay on half of a sliced avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, arugula, red pepper flakes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze! Voila!

2. Everything But The Bagel Avocado Toast

The secret here is Trader Joe’s Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning- check it out below. I squeeze lemon juice on to the avocado and top with goat cheese and the seasoning! So simple and tasty as can be.

The Ultimate Mood Lifter

isssss coffee. I can’t really form sentences until I’ve had my morning coffee. If you’re like me, try prepping your pot of coffee the night before, or if you have an automatic coffee machine, use that sh*t. I’m telling you, nothing is better than waking up to the sweet smell of morning brew. Don’t sleep on this one! ;)
