Over the past few months, our team at American Threads has been developing and designing an original crewneck to serve as a symbol of our love for both the fashion industry and the amazing charitable organization, Compassion International. As the world keeps turning and tragedies transpire, finding small and meaningful ways to help those suffering is paramount to creating a better, brighter tomorrow.
What is Compassion?
While compassion in it’s core, is an expression of unconditional solidarity for others, it is also the name of a miracle working worldwide children’s charity organization. Compassion International works year round to bring donations to children in need throughout 29 diverse countries. Through accepting monetary donations, physical gifts, and hand written letters, they are able to provide clean water, disaster aid, education, and medical assistance to children and mothers in need.
Year to date, Compassion has accumulated north of $1 billion in donations and has helped save and holistically renew over 2 million children. Whether in economic, social, physical, or spiritual distress, Compassion offers support and healing in all realms. As we approach the holiday season, many children are experiencing the severity of international political tension and facing unimaginable humanitarian crisis’. As of today, American Threads has sponsored children through compassion for 10 years. As a celebration of years and years of giving, we are releasing an exclusive Especially You Crewneck to spread positivity and raise money for Compassion.
